INSPIRED BY BECKER ART SOCIETY

Article text
2017 Exhibition
In 2013, 43 East Anglian artists contributed work to a 2 day exhibition held in Wenhaston Village where Becker had lived from 1913. One hundred years on we discovered the huge level of interest in and support for his work from the general public. Throughout the weekend, the church where we exhibited rang with the voices of hundreds of people chatting and laughing as they enjoyed browsing and buying the work on display. There were wonderful comments in the Visitors Book and our sales were over £6000. We are continuing to explore ways of building on the success of this event.

We now hold the exhibition annually, and have formed the INSPIRED BY BECKER ART SOCIETY whose committee plan the show. For further details about membership and exhibiting: visit our website.
